Chocolate cupcakes are a firm favourite amongst many young and old. Overall, this little cake was once something that was meant solely for kids parties, but they have taken off in a huge way. You can buy books dedicated to cupcakes. There are stores that only sell cupcakes. In Washington D.C a famous store has been open for some time, selling cupcakes, which attract the crowds from all over. You will see people literally queuing up outside the doors waiting for their cupcakes, and there are plenty more stores like this one.
What's better, chocolate cupcakes you find at trendy adult gatherings and even weddings only take an average of 40 minutes to make. Some people will tell you that it all comes to what is on top, but this is not necessarily true. If you think about it, you may have a cupcake which is bland or dry and comparing this to something that is flavoured with espresso, orange or chocolate cream can make a massive difference.
Here is a recipe that works really well because there is a lot of flavour in the cupcake and because of the method used; you will also discover that they are very moist. I used coffee here, just to add in something extra. The ganache is what you put on top afterwards and this can also be flavoured with coffee to give it a cappuccino feel.
½ cup cream
250g (8.5 oz,) chocolate
I just thought I would leave you with something that is budget-friendly, which you can whip up in no time, but you can still rely on its moist flavour. So many people say they don't even want to become interested in baking because of the costs involved, but it really doesn't have to be that expensive.
You can use a machine with a paddle attachment for this.
